With this show I dealt with my Catholic upbringing. I explored Madonnas as symbols, delving into the paranormal aspects of faith, miracles, and the dichotomy between real and fake manifestations. The Madonnas, whether of divine or malevolent origin, serve as a reflection on the complexities of belief. I draw inspiration from places like Garabandal, alleged to be a deceptive holy site created by the Devil. The crying tears of blood in some depictions signify Mary's concern for humanity, inspired by accounts from Korea where a visionary witnesses apparitions.
